|2015 ECTC Orientation|
ECTC Orientation is a fun and informative way to learn about ECTC, get off to a great start in college, and meet with an adviser and schedule classes!
** Orientation is mandatory for new, returning, and transfer students.
** The abbreviated sessions on 5/20 and 6/17 are for summer students and students who already have a class schedule. If you are a NEW student who is starting in the FALL please register for one of the July sessions.
|These campus tours are for prospective students only! Students (and parents) will be given a full campus tour, including technical program facilities, science labs, and the student center. Visitors will also be given information about their specific degree of choice, tuition costs, financial aid information, and help with the application process.|
|Career Choice: Thoughts for the Pursuit of Happiness?|
|A short 20 minute talk about how ECTC students can plan careers and build towards a happy life.|
|Find Your Future|
|30 minute session on how to be the best you can be... and turn this into a career where you are HAPPY.|
|How to be your Best in a Job Interview|
|After your resume gets you the interview, the interview is your chance to prove you deserve the job. This workshop teaches interview skills and helps suggest ways to respond to tough interview questions. Students bring a copy of a current resume to this workshop.|
|How to Choose a College Major|
|For the undecided college major. This 30-minute forum describes a career-life planning process and explains the MY PLAN career planning computer assessment tool used at ECTC. A good workshop to confirm your career choice or to search for a new career goal.|
|How to Find a Full-Time or Part-Time Job|
|This workshop focuses on job hunting strategies for ECTC students seeking part-time and/or fulltime employment.|
|How to prepare for a Job Fair|

|A clearly written resume is still the single most important tool in your job search. This workshop introduces students to techniques in producing a job-winning resume.|
